「みはるかす」の向井さんは、たなか牧子造形工房の織りの生徒さん。ウールや草繊維など、「素材」と真摯に向き合う作品作りが信条です。
去年の夏はカジュの庭に大きな青苧を見つけて、大喜び!
向井さんが、あえて糸車ではなく、スピンドルで紡ぐ糸は、「だからこそ」の独特の味があります。

Mukai Rie is the creator of spinning brand "Miharukasu" and a student of Tanaka Weaving Craft Studio.
She has a big antenna to catch information about "How to get good fibers from the nature". Actually she found such nice hemp plants at a corner of Khaju garden.(nobody didn't find!)
She must think sheep are her family. She is always spinning sheep wool with a small spindle.
This year she sells her beautiful wool-yarns and make up spindle spinning workshop.
